Jason Jenkins

Jason Scott Jenkins, 34, passed away October 25, 2013 in Los Angeles, CA. He was born in Gaston County and was the son of Steven Blair and Linda Bright Jenkins.

Jason graduated from UNC-Charlotte and was an Eagle Scout.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his sister Angela Jenkins of Los Angeles, sister Brandi and her husband Daniel Nelms, grandfather Roland Jenkins and nieces Anna and Abigail Nelms; aunt and uncle, Myra and Jim Summey; aunt Donna Flynn; uncles Ronald Bright and Jimmy Bright.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Muriel Jenkins and Doris Bright, his grandfather J.D. Bright, aunt Roxanne Karagias and uncles Audie Bright and K.C. Flynn.

The family will receive friends at Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 2 from 11:00 am to noon with a Celebration of Life Service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bradley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1425 West Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC.
