Jeffrey Broome

Jeffrey Todd Broome, 49, of Bessemer City, passed away suddenly on July 16, 2015, at home.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 am on Monday, July 20, 2015, at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services in Bessemer City.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Westview Gardens, 1123 Edgewood Road, Bessemer City, with Pastor Jon Mann officiating.
Jeff was born in Gastonia to Rebecca Broome and the late Paul Dan Broome. He married Kathryn Broome on July 29, 2005. Jeff worked at Commercial Vehicle Group where he was a welder team leader for 11 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, family and friends. He will be remembered for his kind soul, devotion to family, and friendship.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Paul Dan Broome.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn; children, Dakotta Broome, Amanda Gowan, Zack Broome, Brittany Shipp and family, Scott Broome; sister, Traci Walker and husband Trevor Walker; mother, Rebecca Broome; grandchildren, Micah Washousky and Mariah Marable; niece, Aliyah Ledford.
Pallbearers are Danny Meeks, Scott Day, Jon Cobb, Dennis Dulin, Reggie Guffey, and Johnny Guffey.
