Jerry Ellis

Jerry Dean Ellis, 56, of Kings Mountain passed away on January 3, 2014 at Caromont Regional Hospital. He was born October 17, 1957 in Gaston County, to the late Ruby T. Ellis and Lathan E. Ellis.

Jerry was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and a great friend to so many people. He was a hard worker and provider for his family. He worked at Dallas Fabrication for 9 years and Carolina Mills for over 21 years. He graduated from Gaston College with an Industrial Maintenance Technology degree with high honors on May 7, 2004

Jerry is survived by his wife of 32 years Pam Sosebee Ellis, son Josh Ellis (Tabatha), grandchildren Dixie, Darrell, and Dagan, sisters Lynda Morrison, Barbara Ford (Ken), Gail Burdette (Claude), brother Mike Ellis (Kathy), and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 6, 2014 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Service with Rev. Ronnie Bowers officiating.

His family will receive friends Sunday night from 7:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
