Jerry Paul Mixon, 64, of Kings Mountain, passed away on February 7, 2015, at his residence. He was born October 6, 1950 in Cleveland County to the late Willie Paul and Virginia Muriel Martin Mixon.
He was a United States Army Veteran.
Jerry is survived by his son Eric Mixon; brothers Johnnie Mixon of Kings Mountain, Ronnie Mixon of Gastonia, Dennis Mixon of Bessemer City and Darrell Mixon of Texas; sisters Debbie Smith of Kings Mountain and Cheri Crawford of Bessemer City.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain with Rev. Johnnie Mixon, II officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Bessemer City American Legion Honor Guard Post 243.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
