Jerry Turner

Jerry Dean Turner, 80, of Bessemer City, passed away at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on February 26, 2022. He was born May 14, 1941, in Gaston County, to the late Claude Arthur Turner and Eva Sowell Turner.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Turner.

Jerry retired from Wix Filters after 36 years of service and was a member of the Kings Mountain Family Worship Center. His favorite job was being PawPaw.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Louise Revels Turner; son, David Turner (Karen); sister, Jean Johnson (Tommy); grandchildren, Jeremy Turner, Christopher Turner; Sarah Turner; and great-grandson, Jack Turner.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Jerry’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 4, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Woodard and Pastor Ray Almond officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
