Jimmy Coursey

Jimmy McAlphine Coursey, 65, of Shelby, passed away on November 25, 2014, at home. He was born January 30, 1949 in Georgia to the late David Walter and Lola Mandy Odom Coursey.

Jimmy was a member of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church in Waco.

He is survived by wife, Norma Jean Mann Coursey; daughter, Angela White of Shelby; sons, Larry Putnam, Jr. of Shelby, Michael Coursey of Douglasville, Ga., Richard Coursey of Gautier, MS; sister, Sarah Toliver of Bainbridge, Ga.; brothers, David Coursey of Quincy, Fl., Robert Coursey of Cordele, Ga., Leroy Coursey of Columbus, Ga., Charles Coursey of Evans, Ga., 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation services with Rev. Terry Huffman officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Shelby.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the funeral home.
