Jimmy Holder

Jimmy Lee Holder, 79, of Gastonia, passed away August 8, 2013 at home. He was born in Rowan County on March 23, 1933 to the late Fred Eugene and Ina Hunnicutt Holder.

He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Hilton Hill, Jean and Mike Scruggs, and Rebecca and Philip Brooks; grandchildren, Jeff and Travis Hill, David and Lee Lunsford, Katie Davis, and Will Brooks; great-grandchildren, Kris, Emilee, and Kaylee; brother George Holder.

Jimmy was preceded in death his wife of 62 years, Ocie Stacy Holder.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm Monday at Gaston Memorial Park with Rev. Chester Waters officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm Monday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services in Bessemer City.
