Jimmy Painter

Jimmy “Bo” Painter, Jr, 52, of Lincolnton, passed away at Atrium Health Pineville on July 19, 2022. He was born January 22, 1970, in Gaston County.

He is preceded in death by his father Rev. Jimmy Painter; paternal grandparents Rev. Carl and Bertie Painter.

Bo was employed by Daimler Truck (Freightliner), Gastonia. He enjoyed playing the drums, listening to music and attending concerts.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Christin Painter; brother, Jerry Painter; sister, Jewel Chamberlin; mom, Rhonda Painter; granddaughter, Chezeray Lail; and numerous close aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 29, 2022, at The Freewill Church of Jesus Christ.

Bo’s funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at The Freewill Church of Jesus Christ with Rev. Jimmy Cash officiating.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
