John Robinson

John Robinson, 53, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born October 15, 1967 in Gaston County to the late Roy Lee and Linda Gibson Robinson.

John was a member of Second Baptist Church, Cherryville, NC. He graduated from Hunter Huss in 1985 and worked for Graybar Electric for 17 years. John loved to tinker with old cars and was an adamant Duke basketball fan.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 18 years Angela Robinson; children, Lacey Davis, Joshua Robinson, and Lindsey Robinson; sisters, Rita Adams (Darrell) and Beth Hembree (Eric); nieces and nephews, Matthew Adams, Chris Adams, Megan Hembree, Jacob Hembree, Jennifer Seibert, Stephanie Ross, Melinda Ross, Caleb Ross, Allie Moss, Christopher Jones, Christopher Ledford, Justin Mathis; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will greet friends from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Second Baptist Church, Cherryville on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

John’s memorial service will be held 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Second Baptist Church, Cherryville with Pastor Jerry Lail officiating.
