JOHNNY   MOORE



Johnny D. Moore, 62, of Bessemer City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family  on December 26, 2012.  He was born March 7, 1950 in Gaston County to the late Dennis Moore and Mildred Huggins.



Johnny will forever be remembered for his love of cooking and baked pies during the holidays, family gatherings and his infamous jokes and sense of humor.  The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to excellent staff at Cleveland County Healthcare System (Cleveland Regional) in Shelby for their gentle care of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend for the support they showed to our family during this difficult time.



Mr. Moore is survived by his, wife of 37 years, Patricia Moore; six children, Tim McVay, Debbie Brouse, Steven McVay, Connie Pettry, Kimberly Coley and Chad Moore; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchldren.



His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City with the Dr. Gene Ware officiating.



Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.



The family will receive friend's Friday, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
