Johnny Patterson

Johnny Dale Patterson, 51, passed away on May 21, 2022. He was born October 14, 1970, in Spring Valley, IL, the son of Wilma Marie Johnson Eaves and the late John Nesbitt Patterson.

He loved going to yard sales, thrift shopping, and he enjoyed collecting historical memorabilia. He could make you laugh at about anything. He loved all his family very much. He may not have always been able to show it in the appropriate ways, but it was there, nonetheless. He was always energetic and before he became disabled, he worked very hard to provide for his family. You couldn't out argue him over anything, you could try but he would stand for what he believed, and he would let you know it. He enjoyed listening to music. He struggled with many different things, but he never allowed those things to defeat him. He never gave up trying and that is all that matters. He definitely made his own impression on anyone he ever met.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Angelica Patterson; granddaughter, Amora Patterson; mom, Wilma Eaves; brothers, Dean Patterson (Elaine), Rick Patterson, Chris Eaves (Ashley), and Chad Eaves (Brittany); sister, Wilma Eaves; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Johnny’s memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.
