JOSEPH   JENKINS



Joseph Earl Jenkins, 70, died August 19 2012, at Robin Johnson House, Dallas.  He was the son of the late Avery R. Jenkins and step-mother, Nettie K. Jenkins, mother, Emma Goforth and step-father, Dennis Goforth.



Joseph attended West View Baptist Church.



He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Fay Fraley Jenkins, daughter of Roby and Cora Fraley; daughter, Marla Andersen; granddaughter, Keisha L. Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Javis, Jolee and Kingston; sisters, Lauretta Carawan and husband Paul of Gastonia, Brenda Joyce McNiely and husband David of Nevada, Jerri Stinnett, Sarah Goforth both of Kings Mountain; brothers, Gary R. Jenkins and wife Edith of Concord, Dewey Jenkins and wife Joy of Dallas, Mack B. Jenkins and wife Susan of Bessemer City, Doug Jenkins of Shallote, Dennis Goforth, Jr. and wife Louann of Kings Mountain.



He is preceded in death by his daughter, Priscilla Lee May Jenkins; sister, Ruth Jenkins Meadows



His memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.



Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:30 - 5:30 PM at the funeral home.
