Joshua Westmoreland

Joshua Ryan Westmoreland, 27, of Bessemer City, passed away on October 3, 2016. He was born on June 21, 1989 in Forsyth County, Winston-Salem. William Evan and Terry Benbow his parents.

Joshua Westmoreland graduated from Eugene Ashley High School in 2007. Shortly after that he enlisted in the Army National Guard as a Combat Engineer at Fort Leonardwood Missouri. He also became a foreman crew leader at Mastec; a cell phone tower company.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers, Chris Westmoreland and wife Mercedes of Ft. Huachuca, Az., Glen Benbow of Wilmington, NC., Matthew Benbow and wife Ashley of Williamsburg Va.; and grandmother, Ann Peel Graves of Kernersville, NC.

His memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City, with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm before the service at the funeral home.
