Juanita Ross

Juanita Kiser Ross, 80, passed away May 21, 2013 at home. She was born on February 12, 1933 to the late Luther Andrew and Annie Lucy Clark Kiser.

Juanita owned and operated R & N Fabric House for the last 40 years, providing hemming, custom interiors and quilting to many. She was a generous and caring person and was the family matriarch.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Ross; brother, Henry Kiser.

She is survived by her husband, James John Ross; son, Kenneth Ross; daughters, Judy Champion, Gail McFadden; sisters, Gladys Neal, Ruby Flack, Louise Wright; grandchildren, Angela Ross, Melissa Champion Huss, Michelle Ross Locklear, Jamie Ross, Shane Ross; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Don Capell officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
