Judy Mixon

Judy Florence Mixon, 72, of Gastonia, passed away March 25, 2013 at home. She was born on March 25, 1941 in Gaston County, to the late Athel Clifford and Ethel Katherine Bridges Dugan.

Judy retired from Amp Inc. in 1994 after 25 years of service.

She was survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald Lamar Mixon; children, Sherry and David Bingham of Gastonia, Danny and Pam Mixon of Lincolnton, Michael Mixon and Sandy Garmon of Albemarle; brother Jimmy Dugan of Bessemer City; sister, Carolyn Black of Bessemer City; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Reed, Delaine Newton.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Mr. Michael Lamar Mixon officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-900 pm Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the funeral home.
