Julie Shaw

Julie Ann Adkins Shaw, age 54, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born January 1, 1963 in Raleigh County, West Virginia, daughter to Bishop Lude E. Adkins and Ruth Maddy Adkins of Gastonia, N.C.

Julie was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother, nona, and aunt. She was an organist under her father's ministry, and has been playing since she was 14 years old.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Bryan Keith Shaw, Sr.; parents, Bishop Lude and Ruth Adkins of Gastonia, daughter, Ashleigh Celeste Shaw of Gastonia, son, Julian Keith Shaw of Gastonia; sisters Debbie Adkins, Kathy Stewart and husband Terry all of Gastonia. She also had 5 grandchildren.

A celebration of Julie's life will be held at 5:30pm Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Jesus Way Tabernacle, 1816 Gum Street, Gastonia with Bishop Lude E. Adkins, Bishop Randy Smith officiating

Her family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:30 pm prior to the service at the church.
