Karen Wray

Karen Goforth Wray, 57, of Gastonia, passed away at CaroMont Regional Medical Center on January 29, 2022. She was born June 6, 1964, in Cleveland County, to Edith Ellison Goforth and the late Rev. Richard Wayne Goforth.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gene Wray.

Karen loved her family and especially her nieces and nephews. She graduated from North Augusta High School in 1982.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Christopher Wray; stepson Donald Scott Wray; mother, Edith Goforth; sisters, Kathy Swank (Ed), Marlene Willard, and Janet Melissa Ogden; 4 nieces; 2 great-nephews; 1 great-niece.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Karen’s memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Sisk Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Alvin Ellison officiating.
