Kenneth Strickland

Kenneth Nelson Strickland, 57, of Bessemer City, passed away on Saturday July 11, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 19, 1958 in Cleveland County, to Shirley Huntsinger Strickland and the late Clyde Nelson Strickland.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Beulah Strickland, his maternal grandparents, Grover and Sarah Huntsinger; his nephew, Billy Patterson.

Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Miranda Strickland; his ex-wife Sherri Strickland; brother, Scott Strickland and wife Elaine; sisters, Anita Strickland and Lisa Patterson; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home, Bessemer City, NC.

His funeral service will be held at 2pm Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with his brother Scott Strickland officiating.

Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Fallston, NC.
