LaNita McEntyre Carver, 54, of Iron Station, passed away on June 11, 2015 at Levine Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. She was born on July 19, 1960 in Gaston County, to Starlene McKeehan McEntyre of Bessemer City and the late Furman "Bud" David McEntyre, Sr.
LaNita was if the Baptist faith. She was a fun loving clown that loved people and the Lord.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Ray Carver, sister, Wanda McEntyre Walker, nephew, Eric McEntyre.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her son, Michael Derrick Fowler of Bessemer City; sister, Angela Bradley of Bessemer City, brothers, Furman David McEntyre, Jr., James "Jessie" Dale McEntyre both of Bessemer City; Buford David McEntyre , Michael Leonard McEntyre, both of Cartersville, Georgia; granddaughters, Sophya and Nicole Fowler.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Rev. Eric Ross officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
