Larry Lee Hambright, Sr., 62, of Kings Mountain, passed away on August 26, 2015 at Cleveland Regional Hospital, Shelby. He was born on July 18, 1953 in Cherokee County to the late Robert E. Lee and Lois Lorena Pennington Hambright.
Larry enjoyed the beach, fishing, his birds, bird watching, gardening, and dogs.
He was survived by his daughter, Caroline Hambright; sons, Larry Hambright, Jr. and Devin Hambright; sisters, Brenda Gaddy, Jean Morrow, Mary Jones, Gloria Aldridge.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, August 31, 2015 at True Gospel Holiness Church, Kings Mountain with Rev. LeAnn Chapman officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Monday, August 31, 2015 at the church.
