Larry Donald Lee, 78, of Gastonia passed away on May 13, 2014 at home. He was born June 11, 1935 in Gaston County, NC, to the late William Homer and Willie Roberta Dixon Lee.
Larry was a hardworking man. He was a good loving father to his children and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Heffner Lee; sons, Russell Lee and wife Desiree of Kings Mountain, Gregory Lee and wife Doris of Gastonia, Tracy Scott Lee of Inman, SC, Michael Lee of Gastonia; daughter, Donna Lee of Gastonia; sister, Jolene Pruitt of Bessemer City; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth Lee, David R. Lee.
His funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Rev. Carl Overton officiating.
Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Belmont.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 Wednesday at the funeral home.
