Larry Woodward

Larry Smith Woodward, 76, passed away Friday November 17, 2017 at Piedmont Medical Center of Rock Hill, S.C. He was born December 25, 1940 in Chesterfield, S.C. to the late Smith and Violet Martin Woodward.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Woodward; infant sister, Lillian Gail, brother, Donald Woodward; sister, Gwendolyn "Sister" Woodward.

Larry was a veteran of the United Stated Army, serving two tours in Vietnam.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Lovetta Woodward of Bessemer City, niece, Deanna McRorie and husband Bo of Pageland, SC; niece Michelle Gainey and husband Weldon of Ruby, SC, numerous cousins and other extended family.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Jarvis officiating.

His family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 prior to his service at the funeral home.

Larry's family would like to thank the nursing staff of Pruitt Health of Rock Hill for the care given to Larry during his stay there.
