Lavona Keever

Lavona "Tookie" Conner Keever 69, of Bessemer City, passed away on February 21, 2017 at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born on December 8, 1947 in Gaston County to the late Robert and Christine Hull Conner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Stephen Keever; daughter Ammie Kristen Smith; brother Robert Allen Conner

She was survived by her daughter, Christine Carroll of Kings Mountain; nieces, Carmen Denise Conner and Shelton Toney; grandchildren, Abigail Carroll, Hendrix Crossley and Layla Crossley; Aunt Jenanette Melton; Uncle Johnny Hull; sister-in-law Jean Conner; many loving cousins and relatives.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Rev. Jerry Millwood officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00 pm Friday, February 24, 2017 at the funeral home.
