Leroy Styers

Leroy Styers, 85, formerly of Mt. Holly, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday November 17, 2018. He was born August 10, 1933 in Cleveland County to the late Lawrence and Minnie Foster Styers.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Elizabeth "Lib" Fitch Styers; brothers, Billy and Gene Styers.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Leroy Styers, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ronnie Summey; daughter, Debra Chaney; brother, Jack Styers; grandchildren, Mark Styers, Ashley Herms, Melissa Nottage, and Kimberly Munoz; 6 great-grandchildren.

Leroy was a devoted Christian and attended Christian Fellowship Assembly of Dallas, NC. He was owner and operator of Styers Carpet and Flooring Installation of Mt. Holly.

A Celebration of Leroy's life, officiated by Bro. Paul Brintley will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Christian Fellowship Assembly of Dallas, NC.

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont, NC.

Leroy's family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 prior to the service at the church.
