Lillian Rogers Finch, 85, of Kings Mountain, passed away September 15, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born December 24, 1928 in Calhoun County, Mississippi, to the late Charlie and Ethel Mae Drake Rogers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Jim, James Arthur, and T.J. Rogers; and sisters, Dottie Pouge, Winnie Berg, Tot Rogers.

Lillian is survived by her husband Robert Lee Finch; daughters Carolyn Redmond and husband Tee Jay of Kings Mountain, Pam Adams of San Diego, Ca; brothers Sammy Rogers of Mississippi and Donald Rogers of Florida; sisters Linnie Carpenter of Mississippi, Billie Ann Luttrell of Illinois; grandchildren Keith Palmer and Chris Palmer; and wife Erica; great-grandchildren Nicholas Palmer and Justin Palmer.

Lillian owned and operated Lil's Country Grill on Piedmont Avenue in Kings Mountain and was formerly employed by the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. She was a children's worker at First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain for a number of years. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

Her memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday September19, 2014 at Harvest Baptist Church, 144 Ware Road, Kings Mountain, with Rev. Gary Teague officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Cleveland County Hospice, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
