Lillian Gaddy

Lillian Marie Block Gaddy, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born March 21, 1926 in St. Paul Minnesota to the late Adam and Mary Herman Block.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Gaddy, her brothers, Ernie, Marty, Adam, Donald Block; her sisters, Emma, Rose, and Betty Ann Block; grandchildren, Andrew Pasour, infant Weaver twins.

Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Charles Gaddy and wife Billie; her daughters and sons-in-law, Marie Trotter and husband Carroll, G.G. Ellis, Nancy Pasour and husband Clay, and Sheila Carroll and husband Bryan; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lillian's family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, Bessemer City.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Pastor Dick Schroeder officiating.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
