Linda Jones Lawson, 65, of Kings Mountain passed away on December 3, 2013 at her home. She was born December 28, 1947 in Gaston County to the late Rose Jones.

She is survived by her son, David Lawson of Tennessee; daughters, Renee Lawson of Kings Mountain, Tina Lawson of Shelby; brother, Gene Goforth of Canada; sisters, Frances Bridges and Betty Bridges both of Kings Mountain; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City with Rev. James Chambers officiating.

Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

Linda's family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
