Lois Coble

Lois Earlene Kuykendall Coble, 87, passed away at Brookstone Retirement Center, Lexington, NC on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. She was born February 17, 1934 in Cherokee County to the late William Byrd and Carrie Lenora Lovelace Kuykendall.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Rodney Coble (Mary), Vickie Wilkes (Chris), Bobby Coble (Lynette), Jeff Coble (Lisa), Rhonda Smith (Bob); brother Louis Kuykendall (Elaine); grandchildren Greg Coble (Kristy), Brandon Coble, CJ Wilkes (Maggie), and Briana Smith; great-grandchildren Caleb Coble, Caden Coble, and Roe Roe Wilkes; and sister-in-law Carolyn Kuykendall.

She will lie in state from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Lois’ funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Sisk Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Kuykendall officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brookstone Retirement Center Activity Fund, 2968 Old Salisbury Rd., Lexington, NC 27295.
