Lon Brooks

Lon Eric Brooks, 63, of Gastonia, passed away on Friday April 1, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 21, 1952 in Gaston County to the late Charles Linberg and Pauline McDonald Brooks.

Lon attended Charity Baptist Church and served in the United States Marines.

He was survived by his sons, Eric Scott Brooks, Lon Jonathan Brooks, Scott Hampton Brooks; daughters, Lisa Ann Brooks, Tracey Suzanne Brooks, Sierra Elizabeth Brooks; sister, Katherine Bolding and Ruby Gibson; brothers, Kain Brooks, Charles Brooks and wife Rose, Adam Brooks; niece, Tammy Brooks; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-great- grandchildren.

A graveside service, will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, April 14, 2015 Gaston Memorial Park with the Rev. Brian Austin officiating.
