Lorine Tate

Lorine Wilson Tate, 83, of Gastonia, passed away January 17, 2015, at Robin Johnson House, Dallas. She was born in Gaston County to the late Columbus Earl and Annie Pettus Wilson.

Lorine was a member of Maylo United Methodist Church, Ranlo. She was a volunteer at Gaston Memorial Hospital and Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steve Conley Rowland.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby James Tate; son James Wilson Tate of Charlotte; sisters Helen Withers of Gastonia, Frances Towery of Gastonia, Jane Price of Carrolton, Va., and Betty Hartsell of Rock Hill, SC.

Lorine's memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Maylo United Methodist Church, Ranlo with Rev. Laura Auten and Rev. Joe Ervin officiating.
