Madeline Weaver

Madeline Weaver, 85, of Gastonia, passed away at her residence on April 16, 2023. She was born November 26, 1937, in Graham County, to the late Oliver Marshall Phillips and Dorothy Lee Glisson.

She is preceded in death by husband, Johnny David Weaver; daughter, Patricia Ann Tull; brother, Kenneth Phillips

Madeline attended Yorkwood Church of God. She also enjoyed listening to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. One of her favorite hobbies was playing Bingo. Madeline was a precious lady with a heart of gold. She loved everyone she met, and everyone loved her. She will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish his/her memories are daughter, Terri Flis and husband, James; granddaughter, Chasity Monk and husband, David; grandson, Michael Weaver and fiancé, Ashley; great grandchildren, Brianna Weaver, Dalton Caldwell, brothers, Billy Phillips, Johnny Phillips; sister, Bobbie Railey; 4 great-great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Madeline’s funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Clubb officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens.
