Margaret Adams

Margaret W. Adams, age 89, of Melody Lane, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Born in Rutherfordton, NC she was the daughter of the late James and Marie Greene. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Adams; brothers, Junior, Paul, Steve, Joe, Clyde; and her son, Bobby Adams.

Survivors include her children, Vicky Justice of Surfside Beach, Alfred Adams (Donna) of Clover, Mike Adams (Ann) of Clover; grandchildren, Starlene Schafer (John), Stoney Cantor, Adam Justice (Ashleigh), Chad Adams (Brandy), Chris Adams (Amy), Leslie Owens (Johnny), Dustin Adams; great grandchildren, Courtney Dellinger, Ally Meeks, Paula Schafer Bower, Chad Schafer, Maddie Schafer, Micha Cantor, Skylar Cantor, Cruz Justice, Logan Adams, Katie Adams, Max Adams; brothers, Robert "Bob" Greene (Mildred) of Gastonia, NC, Buster Greene (Brenda) of Supply, NC, Ted Greene (Alice) of Poway, CA; sister-in-law, Sue Greene of Alameda, CA; special daughter and family for life, Gloria Gardner (Jerry), Tamika Smalls (Donial), Jerry Gardner Jr., Nizah and Donial Smalls Jr., Linda Shaw (Arnold), Hazel Sargent (Randy), Barbara Robinson and a host of family, friends and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a very special lady, Loretta Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Jammy Carson officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
