Martha Hager

Martha Robertson Hager, 94, of Bessemer City, passed away August 26, 2014, at Courtland Terrace of Gastonia. She was born May 18, 1920 in Laurens County, SC to the late Doctor Pierson and Sallie Gray Robertson.

Martha was a homemaker, mother and a Sunday School Teacher for many years at Concord United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Floyd Hager, brother Bryan Robertson, and sister-in-law Sue Robertson, sister Dot Fincher, and brother-in-law Bill Fincher.

Martha is survived by her daughter Aprile Lynn Fulbright and husband Ken of Cheraw, SC, grandson Robert Fulbright (Chris) of Charlotte, granddaughter Sarah Floyd (Chris) of Florence, SC, great grandson Bryson Floyd of Florence, SC, nieces Lisa Polston of Clover, SC and Kim Brown of Zolfo Springs, FL, nephew Scott Robertson of Wilmington, and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday August 29, 2014 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City, with the Rev. Cindy Spicer officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery.
