Mary Long Atkins, 49, of Gastonia, passed away August 27, 2012 at the home of her sister in Bessemer City.    She was born August 4, 1963, in York County, SC, to the late Lee Long and Annie Hagler Long.



She is survived by her husband, Hoyt David Atkins, Sr.; children, David Atkins, Jr. of Gastonia, Crystal Atkins Kirby and husband Adam of Gastonia, Keith Allen Atkins of Dallas, Kevin Lee Atkins of Gastonia; grandchildren, Destiney, Xaviar, Candice, Breanna, Kevin Jr., and Aiden; brother, Gary Long and wife Angie of Dallas; sister, Kim Seay and husband Bo Mercado of Bessemer City.



Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Robbins officiating.



Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery, Bessemer City.



Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 -8:00 PM at the funeral home.
