Mary Dunn

Mary Ann Coley Dunn, 73, passed away on Sunday August 26, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born on June 13, 1945 in Mecklenburg County to the late Clyde Coley, Sr. and Laura Kiser Coley.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Amos Dunn.

Left to cherish her memories is her sons Randall Amos Dunn and wife Leigh Ann of Gastonia, Johnny Phillip Dunn and wife Nora of Bessemer City; brother, Clyde Coley, Jr. of Charlotte; sisters Betty Owens of Charlotte, Sylvia Bolton of Bessemer City; brother-in-law Andy Dunn and wife Joyce of Gaffney; grandchildren Emily Beck and Tyler, Samantha Sullens, Jacob Sullens, Nathaniel Sullens, Cheyenne Dunn, Sierra Dunn; her dogs Boomer and Miracle; numerous nieces and nephews, best friend of 50 years Ann Goodson.

Mary was a member of Good News Tabernacle Church of Bessemer City.

A funeral service, to celebrate Mary's life, will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor Rey Goodson officiating.

Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain.

Mary's family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home and other times at the home, 312 Creekside Road, Bessemer City, NC 28016.
