MARY "KAYE" GOINS

Mary "Kaye" Guffey Goins 64, of Lincolnton passed away June 23, 2015 at her sister's home, in Gastonia. She was born November 23, 1950 in Kinston, NC to the late James Leonard and Eva Bright Wilson Guffey.

She graduated from Tryon High School and Cameo Beauty School. Kaye was adventurous, courageous, and lived life to the fullest always wearing a smile. She had compassion for her family, friends, and her pets, Kaye was a very unique and genuine person. She will be missed.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Pat Dellinger and Roger Guffey.

She is survived by her siblings, Lois Hoglen of Lincolnton, Glenda Moore of Bessemer City, Wayne Guffey and wife Carol of Grandberry, Texas, Jim Guffey and wife Carolyn of Kure Beach, NC, Sybil Giles of Gastonia, Jackie Winchester and husband Richard of Waterloo, SC; many nieces and nephews; many great and great-great nieces and nephews; special friend Rick Boone; her loving pet Oscar.

Her memorial service will be held 4:30 pm Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremations Services Bessemer City.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:30 pm Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the funeral home.
