Mary Poarch

Mary Neal Fields Poarch, 87, of Dallas, died Septemer 14, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia.   She was born May 14, 1925 in Gaston County to the late  John Harris  Fields and Mamie Edna Hoover Fields.



Mary Neal was retired from J. P. Stevens in Stanley.  She was a member of Dallas Foursquare Gospel Church.



She is survived by her son, Steve Poarch and wife Lorrie of Dallas; her daughters, Roseanna Greene and Dennis of Taylors, SC, and Joyce Watkins and Reggie of Dallas; brother, Lawrence Fields of Dallas; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Poarch; her daughter, Shelby Jean Poarch Stroupe.



Her graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday at Long Creek Cemetery, Dallas, with Rev. Fred Morrison officiating.
