Maxine "Mackie" Hamrick Pasour, 58, of Dallas passed away on November 25, 2013 at her home. She was born April 13, 1955 in Cleveland County, NC.
Maxine was a member of Antioch Lutheran Church in Dallas. She was the manager of the Bessemer City ABC Store where she worked for 23 years. Maxine enjoyed the outdoors, camping, the beach, crossword puzzles, working with people. Maxine loved spending time with her granddaughter, Grandma's Little Rose that she adored.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Daniel Glenn Pasour; sons Eric Hubain Pasour and wife Emily Lynn Pasour, Brian Scott Pasour and girlfriend Carla Martin all of Bessemer City; mother Sadie Elizabeth Henson Thrower of Kings Mountain; sisters Brenda Hamrick Goins Camp and husband Mike of Kings Mountain, Wanda Hamrick McSwain and husband Dale of Shelby; granddaughter Madelyn Rose Pasour; mother-in-law Betty Thornburg Pasour of Bessemer City; brother-in-law John Alan Pasour and wife Debbie of Springfield, VA; 2 nieces; 2 nephews; 1 great niece; 2 great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her dad William Jack Thrower, biological father Cecil Edward Hamrick; brother Richard Hamrick, and father-in-law Glenn o. Pasour.
Her funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday at Antioch Lutheran Church with Pastor George Rhyne officiating.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Maxine's family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, Bessemer City.
