Michael Boles

Michael Lee Boles, 55, passed away on Sunday December 9, 2018 at Atrium Health Care, Lincolnton. He was born December 30, 1962 in Anderson County, TN to Hubert Royale and Linda Smith Boles of Douglasville, GA.

Michael was a United States Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter Michelle Boles Necessary and husband Keith of Gastonia; son Nicholas Barkley, Sr. and Jena of Gastonia; sisters Amanda and Patti Boles of Douglasville, Ga.; brother Steve Boles of Douglasville, Ga; the children's mother Donna Boles of Cramerton; special friend Dawn Shrum of Lincolnton; grandchildren Nicholas Barkley, II and Maverick Bear Boles; numerous nieces and nephews; his special companions Diesel, Tater and Dutchess.

A Celebration of Michael's life will be held at 4 pm Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Rev. Sam Barnett officiating followed by Military Honors

His family will receive friends from 3 to 3:45 pm prior to his service at the funeral home.

The burial will be at a later date in the VA National Cemetery, Salisbury.
