Mitchell Edgar West, 62, of Gastonia, passed away at home on September 29, 2021. He was born March 12, 1959, in Cleveland County to the late Wayne and Mary Moore West.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and Jeff West.

Mitchell was retired from Frieghtliner, Gastonia after 34 years of service.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years Ramona Splawn West; daughter, Heather West Messer (Charlie); sons, Mitchell Thomas West, and Daniel Lee West; grandchildren, Ellie Rose Messer, and Charlie Tyler Messer; sister, Tammy West.

Mitchell's family will receive friends at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Friday, October 8, 2021, from 6:00-8:00 pm.
