OLLIE MAE TONEY

Ollie Mae Moses Toney, age 81, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 6, 2017 while at Testa Family Hospice House. Born July 15, 1935, in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Estell Elizabeth (Moses) Moses and wife of the late William A. Toney, Jr.

Preceded in death in addition to her parents and husband, son, Allen Toney; sister Ruth Sawyer; brothers Bill Moses, Cecil Moses, John Moses, Jr. and William Moses.

Left to cherish her memory is her sons William Anderson Toney III of Kings Mountain, Eugene Toney and wife Cherrie of Clover, S. C., Jimmie S. Toney and wife Beth of Bessemer City, Johnny R. Toney and wife Marta of Penrose, N. C., daughter, Vickie Diane Grady and husband Jimmy of Gastonia; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters Mary Ross of Bessemer City, Bonnie Demory and husband Donald of VA; Ethel Jackson and husband Gene of Iron Station; brothers Wade Cline and wife Judy of Ga; sister -in -law Freida Moses of Bessemer City.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 9, 2017 in the Sisk-Butler Chapel with Pastor Greg Neely officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
