Patricia Splawn

Patricia Ann Splawn, 88, of Dallas, passed away at her residence on March 31, 2023. She was born January 3, 1935, in Gaston County, to the late Leo Helfer, Sr. and Marion Jones Helfer.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Alexander Splawn, Sr.; son, Patrick Lee Splawn; sister, Ruth Fahl; brother, Leo Helfer, Jr; son-in-law, Mitchell West.

Pat loved her family, friends and gardening.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Daniel A. Splawn, Jr. and wife Susan, daughter, Mona West; grandchildren Audrey Whitlock, Heather Messer, Katie Crane, Bill Splawn, Mitchell West, Daniel West, and seven great-grandchildren.

Patricia’s memorial service will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Gastonia with Fr. Lucas Rossi officiating.

Inurnment will follow at her home.
