Paul Hance

Paul Robert Hance, 89, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born August 30, 1927 in Gaston county to the late Wylie Bee and Ida Barns Hance.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Paul Hance and wife Terri of Mt. Holly; daughters, Linda Taylor of Bessemer City, Margie Nixon and husband Mike of Mt. Holly, Sandy Russell of Bessemer City; sister, Lucille Rector and husband Donnie; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Susan Head Hance; his daughter Debra Lavin; three grandchildren, Amy Russell, Henry Hance, Dwayne Hance; great-granddaughter, Faith Padgett; sisters, Mary Adams, Martha Snyder; brother, Ed Hance.

His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Wise officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery of Rutherfordton, NC.
