Paul Rice

Paul Jackson Rice, 76, of Bessemer City, passed away at his residence on June 19, 2022. He was born January 21,1946, in Madison County, to the late Oliver Jackson Rice and Roberta Rogers Rice.

Paul was a United States Army Vietnam veteran and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He retired from Kiser Dairy after 27 years.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Gaynell Lemons, Roger Rice, and Sara Branks.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 52 years, Juanita Rice; son, Glenn Rice (Karen); daughter, Kim Smith (Scott); brothers, John Rice, Ronald Rice, Oliver Rice, and Lynn Rice; grandchildren, Tori Rice, Nicholas Rice, Abby Pearson (Mitchell), Cody Smith, Maddie Smith; 7 great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tonya Bragg and Ronnie Rice for all their help.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Paul’s graveside service will be held 3:30 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Dennis Gomez officiating.
