Paul Routhier

Paul Alan Routhier, 52, passed away at Atrium Health Lincolnton on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was born September 13, 1968 in Gaston County to Barbara Beattie Routhier and the late “Al” Joseph Routhier, Sr.

Paul was employed by Freightliner, Gastonia. He loved his family, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching drag racing, especially late model dragsters.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Carrie Cagle Routhier; daughter Brooke Routhier of Dallas; son Alan Routhier, Jr. of Dallas; fur-baby Harley; mom Barbara Routhier of Dallas; sisters Michele Watts (Tim) and Nicole Routhier; brothers Shane Routhier (Mandy) of Mt. Holly, and AJ Routhier (Faith) of Dallas; nieces and nephews Cortney (Brian), Zack, Bailey (Ariel), Chandler, Lauren, Maddie, and Hayden; great niece and nephew Ryleigh and Easton.

He will lie in state from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Sisk Butler Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27, 2020.

Paul’s funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Sisk Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Pugh officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens.
