PEGGY BARBER

Peggy Leona Beheler Barber, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lincolnton. She was born February 27, 1942 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Ernest Dan and Harriett Louise Robinson Beheler.

Peggy was a member of Freewill Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons Michael Hager of Gastonia, Mark Barber and wife Shannon of Virginia Beach, Va., daughters Betty McClure and fiancé James Postell of Kings Mountain, Pamela Parker and husband Johnny of Kings Mountain; stepson Mickey Hager; stepdaughter Lisa Wilson; grandchildren Ashley Wooten and husband Scott Wooten, Brittany Huggins and husband Bryan, Brooke Nolan, Jerry Campbell, Michael McClure, Kaitlyn Treadway, Charles McClure, Lindsey Johnson; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Kirby Barber, Infant Baby Girl Frances Hager; brothers Raymond, John Kelly, and Jack Beheler; sister Gwyn Cogdill.

A Celebration of Peggy's life, will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Sisk-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services of Bessemer City with Rev. Sam Barnette officiating.

Entombment will follow at Westview Gardens Mausoleum.

Her family will receive friends Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
