Rachel Boswell

Rachel Chitwood Boswell, 90, of Cherryville, passed away at Peak Resources of Cherryville on March 12, 2022. She was born August 7, 1931, in Anderson County, SC, to the late Grover Ray Chitwood and Sally Mae Medlock Chitwood.

Rachel is preceded in death by husband, Henry Ellis Boswell; daughter, Daphne Webb; brothers, Charles Chitwood, Harold Chitwood, Donnie Chitwood; sisters, Joyce Arms, Ruth Gossett, Hazel Long, Jean Simpson, and Alice Leona Crain-Lewis; granddaughter Marcia Neal Price.

Rachel and her husband, Henry were the owner/operators of R&H Upholstery.

Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Brenda Fortenberry (Steve), Kandice Neal (Ben), Cheryl Miller (Larry); sisters, Opal Helms, Carolyn “Cookie” Peacock (Jerry), and Linda Pipes (Glen); grandchildren Greg Neal (Kristin), Mark Neal (Dottie), Brandon Stowe, Shannon LaCount Massey (Jason); and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home.

Rachel’s funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with Pastor John Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens.
