Michael “Red Bird” Keith Angley, 71, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020. He was born May 27, 1949 in Gaston County to the late Paul “Skinny” Angley and Peggy Thomas Rose.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life Teresa Bridges; grandson, Joshua Whitesides; sister, Kathy Lawson.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Jada Bridges Smith (John) of Gray Court, SC; brother, Larry Thomas of Gastonia; sister, Tammy Ruff of Gastonia; grandchildren, Justin Whitesides, Destiny Smith; and great-granddaughter, Paisleigh Rae Lawson Smith.
“Red Bird” will lie in state from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
“Red Bird’s” funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ronald Bridges officiating.
Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
