Reggie Mercer

Reggie Elliott Mercer, 50 of Bessemer City passed away on January 3, 2014 after a very brief but courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born February 17, 1963 in Gaston County, to the late Hayward and Dorothy Mercer.

Reggie worked many years for Meadowood Nursing home doing what he loved to do helping people.

His family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00-12:45 PM at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Bean officiating.
