Rene Ledbetter

Nellie Rene' Smith Ledbetter, 57, of Belmont, passed away October 4, 2014,at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born April 15, 1957 in Gaston County, to the late Allen and Nellie Tucker Smith.

She was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church.

Rene is survived by her husband Rev. Carl R. Ledbetter; sons Christopher Allen Crocker and wife Bridgett, and Lonnie Carl Ledbetter and wife Alison, all of Belmont; brother Lonnie Smith and wife Kim of Gloucester, Va; 6 grandchildren Zachary, Cassie, Cameron, Nathan, Nicholas, and Kenzie.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services, with Mr. Darrell Clawson officiating.

Interment will follow at Westview Gardens Cemetery, Bessemer City

The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
